• iUNIVERSE is the industry-leading publisher supporting self-published authors. Our project focused on identifying inefficiencies with their existing publishing production process, identifying new business opportunities and defining new key performance measures to support further business success.



• OCLC (Online Computer Library Center) is a nonprofit, membership-based, computer library service and research organization dedicated to the public purposes of furthering access to the world's information and reducing information costs. More than 41,555 libraries in 112 countries and territories around the world use OCLC services to locate, acquire, catalog, lend and preserve library materials.



• Data warehouse implementation at a major US based Elhi and College text book publisher, to improve access to critical management information and enhance analytical capabilities through easy-to-use end-user tools in support of finance, sales, marketing and customer service.
  Elements of the project included:
  
  • Definition of key reporting metrics, data sources, data gaps and data integration processes.
  • Creation of management reports reflecting key performance measures.
  • Recommendation for technology solutions to support management, cataloging and distribution of text book content.


• Production process review for a Chinese language newspaper publisher, located in Hong Kong. Review and recommendations of internal editorial and production workflow including a comparison to best in class newspaper production processes.



• For a large trade publisher managed the relocation of all operations from Switzerland to the U.K. Reviewed and reengineered all publishing production processes resulting in full adoption and implementation of electronic publishing technologies. Revision cycles improved by 50%, annual title releases increased 200% and production costs decreased by more than 50%.
